Key features of our company
Founders
Fresh Start was founded by Allison Rodrigues, and by team members Gurman Kalkat and Lauren Christian on July 16th, 2019.
Passion
The core of our efforts is to channel the inner passion and imagination of kids worldwide, into artwork that can make a lasting impression on society. Through all of our endeavors, we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.
Our Plan
Our plan is to gather donated art supplies through boxes placed at certain locations. We accept all art supplies in new-barely used (well-treated) condition. Then, we plan to personally deliver these supplies to minority schools that we have partnered with. In the future, we hope to expand globaly to third-world countries and partner with orphanages and schools starting with the Miracle Foundation in India.
Support
At Fresh Start, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Art Supply Donation Drop-Off is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

Hello! My name is Lauren. I am 16 years old, and will be a junior this upcoming school year. I enjoy traveling, tennis, painting, photography, and reading. I always took art class in school starting in Pre-k and am continuing art this year. I always assumed that all kids had the same chance I had to tahe art, sadly I was worng. I am very excited to have started this orginization so that I can help boys and girls all around the world, and give them the same opportunities that I had. I hope that Fresh Start will be able to give all kids the ability that I had so that each kid can reach their full potential.
Founder and President
Hi! My name is Allison, and I am 16 years old; a rising junior at Regents School of Austin, who enjoys competitive swimming, is passionate about and loves drawing and painting, photography, reading, eating sushi, and being as unique as I possibly can. I came up with the idea for this project at art school this summer, realizing that kids around the world are not as fortunate as I am when it comes to availability to art supplies. This sparked my interest to make a difference. Paintbrushes, paints, and pastels are among some of my most cherished paraphernalia; I aim to make that an obtainable option for all kids. Through all of my endeavors, I hope to display the conviction behind my beliefs.

Hi! My name is Gurman, I'm 18 years old and am a freshman at the University of Texas in Austin! I love to read, learn, explore, travel, and aim to make the world a better place with everything that I do. I've loved art and used it as a way to express myself for as long as I can remember which is why Fresh Start means so much. To give kids, all around the world, access to the same artistic resources and opportunties I've had all my life is so important as those resources and opportunties can help them change and make their mark on our world. Kids are the leaders of tomorrow so supplying them with the tools needed to discover themselves is how we can be sure we are leaving the world a better place!
What we're doing for people
